Goals galore.

There have been goals galore for Worcester City Youth teams this week.

The Under 18s rounded off an excellent week with an impressive 8-4 win at Stoke RTC on Saturday – a second success for the age group in the space of five days.

Tom Mills grabbed a hat-trick and there was a brace from Tristan Webby as the side made up mostly of Under 16 players recovered from a 2-3 half-time deficit.

There were six 15-year-olds in the City side that trounced Bromsgrove Sporting 6-1 In the Floodlit League, which included two free-kick strikes from Riley Keasey. Joe Clarke, Matty Patrick-Rivers, Milo Elmes and Christos Gabriel also found the net – the latter on the mark again on Saturday with the only goal from the penalty spot as the Reserves – with an eye on Monday’s FA Youth Cup clash - deservedly triumphed at Fairfield Villa Reserves.

Also in the goals were the Under 11s and the Under 14s who defeated Stourbridge 9-0. Goals and a clean sheet too for the Under 18 Girls in a 4-0 win over Wyrley Pumas.

City’s Under 10 Girls played their first-ever game and turned in a spirited display against Kidderminster Lions, whose experience got the better of the encounter.

Three sides travelled to Kettering Town, where the Under 10s produced a superb comeback from a slow start that saw them bounce back in emphatic style from being two goals down. The Under 15s secured a terrific 3-0 victory, whilst the Under 13s could perhaps consider themselves unfortunate not to have come away with a draw as they were beaten by a single goal.
