Kev Preece steps down from board.

I'd like to announce my resignation from the Board of Worcester City FC with immediate effect. When I joined the board I set myself three main objectives that I wanted to achieve: positive dialogue with the Supporters Trust, Improve the commercial side of the club, and hold an AGM.

I met with the Supporters Trust board in January, as I believe it'd be the best way for the club to progress through these testing times. The meeting was positive and I have relayed feedback to the club board - in particular of how the Trust board feel that the club needs to communicate with all supporters better.

During the season I have taken lead on commercial arm of the club, in particular sponsorship, providing much needed income to club. I will continue to work on sponsorship alongside Jack Hundley and others in the future.

I believe the club is in urgent need of an AGM, to give clarity to shareholders of the situation the club finds itself in and its future direction, there has never been a more appropriate time than now. This however is down to the remaining board members to organise.

I will be continuing my role as Football Secretary and will help Snapper and Lee between now and the end of the season in which we still have high hopes of winning this league.
