City will feel unfortunate not to have taken all three points this afternoon, after having lined up with a three man attack that peppered the Stockport goal all afternoon.
Ian Ormson in the Stockport goal was kept busy all afternoon, saving well from Muskwe, C Keane and Murphy.
The best of the three chances fell to Kuda Muskwe, who headed towards the bottom corner. Ormson threw himself across the goal to get a big hand to the ball and tip it behind for a corner.
Stockport's best chance came from Scott Duxbury, midway through the second half. The full back drove a vicious strike goalwards but could only rattle Nathan Vaughan's crossbar.
The closing stages saw Stockport pressing for a winner but they could find no way through the resolute City defence.
A really positive and determined performance from The Blue And Whites this afternoon as they go in to the final two games of the season.
