The St Johns based Company, whose Managing Director is City Director and Trust Chairman Dave Wood are an advanced engineering company specialising in the design and build of engine testing systems and the Royal visit marked the 21st year of trading for the Company.

The Duke unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion and received a gift of a Worcester City Football Club scarf, which he duly put on.

Dave Wood commented “Our staff really enjoyed the experience of meeting the Duke, to showcase what we do and to have the opportunity to raise our profile to those outside the industry and we were honoured that he put on the City scarf, which he kept on for the rest of the visit.”

The Company are also celebrating the achievement of receiving a global award for Safety improvement by Ford Motor Company Powertrain for the design and build of a new engine test system.
