Following from last weeks 2-1 FA Vase First Round victory over Long Eaton United, City turn their attention back to the Total Motion Midland Football League Premier Division as we host league leaders Ilkeston Town.

After 2 disappointing defeats and an early FA Cup exit at the start of the season, City have gone from strength to strength, and we are unbeaten in 13 over all competitions (9 wins,4 draws), putting us third in the league with 25 points from 13 games.

Visitors Ilkeston top the table with 28 points from 12 games, scoring 29 goals along the way - their key man up front is Elliott Reeves with 13 goals from as many games in all competitions.

City will be boosted by the return to fitness of Nick Turton, who has been absent with a knee complaint since our pre season fixture against Redditch United.

We expect a good following attending the game from Ilkeston Town, we welcome them all and hope they have a save journey to and from the match.
