City face up against Long Eaton on Non League Day!

City take on Long Eaton United on Saturday 13th October in the first round of the FA Vase!

With the City boys on a mega 12 game unbeaten run, and dreams of Wembley ahead, we will be looking for a positive start to our FA Vase campaign against fellow Total Motion MFL Prem Long Eaton.

City currently sit second place in the league, with 25 points from 13 games, whereas the visiting team are 17th with 9 points from 11 games. Last season when we faced Long Eaton in the league, City grabbed a 2-2 draw away thanks to a Mark Danks brace, whereas at home we came out 5-0 winners with goals from James Baldwin (2), Dave Reynolds (2) and Brad Birch all coming in the first half.

Through our partner, Inclusion in Sport and through the Football Supporters Federations campaign 'Fans for Diversity' we can confirm that Supporters Clubs from West Bromwich Albion FC, ApnaAlbion and WBALGBT will be attending the game.

This is hoped to pave the way to demonstrate the Club truly welcomes everyone and to begin engaging as a Club with parts of the local community previously untouched.

We welcome supporters from any other Football League Clubs on this day too!

The winners of the tie will receive £825 with the losers getting £275.If the scores are level at 90 minutes, Extra Time will be played. If the scores are still level at the end of Extra Time the tie will go to a replay on Tuesday 16th October 2018 at 7:45pm kick off.
