Football Secretary joins Club Board

We can announce that Football Secretary, Kevin Preece has accepted an offer by the club board to become a director of the club.

Kev is a familiar face at the City, having been A Supporters Trust board member up until this summer, Safety Officer for a number of years, and taking on the role of Football Secretary this summer. Kev has been instrumental in gaining new sponsorship for the club this season, something he will continue in his new role as Director.

Kev's appointment to the club board is subject to an FA Fit-and-proper-persons-test.

On provisionally joining the board, Kev said "I have accepted the boards invitation and want to primarily try and bring the Club and The Trust back together and open up a positive dialogue moving forward".

"Once I have my feet under the table and I have gathered all the information from the recent past and the current situation, we as a Club must arrange an AGM at an appropriate time, to address the Shareholders."

"Finally I want to continue to push the commercial side of the Club which could always be improved"

We would all like to wish Kev the best of luck in his new role at the club.
