Snape looking for a response...

CITY are ready to bounce back from our 5-3 home defeat at the hands of Sporting Khalsa last weekend as we head to Rugby Town on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
Our hosts sit just one place and three points behind us in the table. They have won five of their 13 home League games so far this term and last weekend saw them run out 2-1 winners at Long Eaton.

Joint manager, John Snape, is looking for a response from his players against a side that we are yet to face this season.
“It’s important that we prove last weekend was just a blip,” he said. “We’ve only lost two on the bounce once this season, so I want to see the lads respond in the right way again on Saturday.

“Rugby have got themselves into a good position; they are a good side going forward and will cause us problems if we allow them to.
“For us it’s about reaching the standards that we know we are capable of and getting back into winning ways.
“We need to approach the game in the right way and go there prepared to battle for everything.”

We urge as many of you as possible to come along and show your support. The game is taking place at Butlin Road, Rugby CV21 3SD.

Our proud sponsors BETTING.NET are backing us as the strong favourites to win this one. For the latest football news and sporting previews, be sure to check them out...
