A look ahead to City's first preseason fixture of the 17/18 season

The City boys kick off their preseason fixtures with a trip to 'The Brakes' on Tuesday night, and a team which features several former Worcester players.

Joint managers John Snape and Lee Hughes' first game leading City together will be a tough one as they face up to newly promoted National North Side Leamington, which features a number of former City players in Connor Gudger, Richard Taundry, Junior English and Colby Bishop. The game will be the first chance for City fans to have a glance at the new look City side which will also feature a number of trialists, as the management look to continue improving the squad.

The last time City played Leamington was also a preseason game in 2016 also held at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium - where it finished 2-1 to Worcester thanks to a brace by Nathan Olukanmi.
