"Preview this weekends fixtures away at Shepshed Dynamo"

This Saturday we make the long journey across to Leicestershire to face Shepshed Dynamo.

Last season City were successful in both fixtures, firstly with a 3 v 2 win at the Victoria Ground with goals from Lee Hughes, Dave Reynolds and Alex Tomkinson.

The return fixture in late March was a doubt right up to kick off, with rain during the day the pitch was deemed playable, but soon after arrival the rain became torrential and if it was not for the brilliant work of Shepshed the game would not have taken place.

The game did take place and City won 2 v 0 with a double from George Forsyth, the one was a sublime lob over the keeper.

So far this season, Shepshed lie in 19th position, after five games they have won 1 losing 4. Scoring 7 goals but shipping double the amount with 14.

City travel there following two fantastic wins against Coventry Sphinx and Stourport Swifts and go there in the hope of extending their winning streak.

Directions - From Junction 23 of M1 motorway take the A512 towards Ashby. Turn right at first set of lights and after approx 1 mile take 2nd exit at mini roundabout (after petrol station). Carry on for half mile over speed humps. Butthole Lane is opposite the Black Swan Public House.
