Last season saw City pick up just a single point against 'The Shiners' - that coming at the victoria ground in a 1-1 draw where Alex Tomkinson grabbed the goal. This was followed by a City 2-1 defeat at Lees Lane, which saw Dave Reynolds pick up his 30th goal of the season, and a result which ensured South Normanton didn't face relegation last term.

Our hosts for the match have had a difficult start to the season, with just 3 points from their first 10 MFL Prem games of the season - however they did all come last weekend thanks to a 1-3 victory over Wolves Sporting, so perhaps a corner has been turned.

Lees Lane has covered seating behind one end, and a covered standing area along one side of the pitch. They have a licenced bar and hot and cold food/drinks available, with indoor and outdoor seating. A large amount of parking is available as you approach the ground.
