Local Business supports Club

Investing in local talent of a different kind, Harrison Clark Rickerbys is sponsoring Worcester City FC for the coming season as well as celebrating the arrival at the club of Josh Harris-James, son of Worcester family law head Kevin Harris-James.

The club, which is currently looking for a new home closer to the city than its present Bromsgrove base, marked the start of the season in fine style on Saturday (12 August) with a home win (3-0) against Heanor Town.

Kevin Harris-James, who presented the sponsorship cheque to joint manager Lee Hughes on the day, said afterwards: “I’m delighted that we can support our local club – I’m obviously proud of Josh’s achievements, but I’m also very proud to be able to invest in local talent in the city. I’m looking forward to a great season.”

Lee Hughes said: “We very much welcome the firm’s support and we’re looking forward to the season.”

Josh Harris-James comes to the club via its youth team and Studley, Causeway Utd, Fairfield Villa and Cadbury Athletic. He started his career at Feckenham FC.

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has 450 staff and partners based at offices in Worcester, Hereford, Birmingham, Cheltenham, the Thames Valley, and the Wye Valley, who provide a complete spectrum of legal services to both business and private clients, regionally and nationwide. The firm also has a number of highly successful teams specialising in individual market sectors, including health and social care, education, agricultural and rural affairs, defence, security and the forces, advanced manufacturing and construction.
