City head north this evening to face Alfreton Town at The Impact Arena in The Vanarama National League North, 7.45pm kick Off.
City will be looking to pick up a first away win of the season and go into the game on the back of two draws, 0-0 at Stockport County last week & 2-2 at home to Curzon Ashton on Saturday, which included two goals from Lee Hughes on his home debut. The Curzon game saw City concede another late goal to lose out on points meaning just AFC Telford United stand in the way of bottom place.
Alfreton, who were relegated from The Conference last season, go into the game looking for their fourth straight win following their 4-0 home win v Hednesford Town on Saturday and have lost just one out of their last seven games, leaving them in 9th place on 11 points. They drew four and lost two of their opening six games but haven't looked back since.
