Tim Harris Confirms His Assistant Manager

Worcester City FC are delighted to announce that Tim Harris has appointed Andy Bevan as his Assistant Manager.

Andy is a qualified UEFA A licenced coach who brings a strong experience having worked with a plethora of talented players in his career to date, as well as having experience managing Herefordshire side Westfields FC.

Andy has been with Hereford United and Cheltenham Town Academy where he worked with the likes of Jack Butland (Crystal Palace), Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Luke Thomas (Ipswich Town), George Lloyd (Cheltenham Town) and Owen Evans (Wigan Athletic) to name but a few.

He was briefly with Hereford FC as Academy Manager for the 2019-2020 season before the Covid-19 pandemic. He currently holds the position of Head of Coaching at the Hereford Development Centre for Cheltenham Town which he will continue in addition to his responsibilities with Worcester City.

Manager Tim Harris said “I am pleased Andy has agreed to get involved in helping take this club forward. He is a very passionate and enthusiastic individual with proven ability to develop players and a good knowledge of this level”.

On taking on the position, Andy Bevan said “I am really excited about getting involved, when Tim called me the decision was an easy one, it was about how we can make this work regarding my commitments with Cheltenham Town. Cheltenham have been first class in making this work and I can’t wait to get started”.

We warmly welcome Andy to the club and look forward to supporting him and Tim in their preparations for the 2021/22 season.
