Worcester City are back on the road this weekend as they travel to Westwood Road to take on St Ives Town in the Southern League Premier Central this Saturday.
City are coming off back-to-back wins, including a big 6-0 victory against Pershore, and have kept consecutive clean sheets. After losing two games in a row in the league, City have returned to winning ways and will be looking to put in a strong performance to carry that on this weekend.
City have been in decent form away from home so far, only losing one out of the last four games.
St Ives have struggled recently, not winning their last three home games, and not winning any of their last five, seeing them fall to 15th in the league table.
A positive result against St Ives would give City a boost in confidence and could see them just one point off the playoff places. The hosts won’t make it easy, however, as they will want to push up the table themselves.
This match begins a run for City, consisting of three consecutive away games, with the next home game being against Halesowen on Boxing Day.
