The Blue and Whites welcome old Southern League rivals Cheltenham Town to Sixways Stadium tomorrow for a 1:30pm kick off.
Pre-season kicked off on Thursday evening with a visit to the picturesque Ribbesford Meadow to take on Bewdley Town. City ran out 1-0 winners with the only goal of the game coming through Liam Lockett in the second half. A driving run from Felix Miles presented the opportunity, and Lockett calmly slid the ball under the keeper to secure the win.
Several Pathway players also featured in the victory, including U18 players Adam Willis and Ashton Doyle, who made their first-team debuts.
League 2 side, Cheltenham Town visit Sixways Stadium in our first home pre-season game of the summer, in what looks set to be a tough test for Chris Cornes' side, against a team 3 leagues higher in the pyramid.
The last competitive meeting between the two sides was a Southern League Premier Division tie on 11 November 1996 at St George's Lane. The game finished 2-2.
