City produce two remembrance poppy badges in aid of Royal British Legion.

As we approach remembrance Sunday, we at Worcester City FC will be commemorating the contribution of Military and Civilian service men and women in the two world wars, and later conflicts, from all over Britain and the Commonwealth.

With our home match against Loughborough University falling on Saturday 10th November (3pm), we have had two special poppy badges produced, with all proceeds from the sale of the poppy badges going to the Royal British Legion. Both badges will be available from the matchday shop for a recommended donation of £3 each or £5 for the pair, with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.

"In honour of the british legion we have for the first time ever issued a Worcester City badge, with the sole aim to raise money for the British Legion. All proceeds will go directly to the Legion, with the club taking none of the profits, we just want to show that we are contributing to the community" - Simon Gregory, Worcester City FC Director

Before kickoff of our match against Loughborough University on Saturday 10th November, a wreath will be laid on the pitch, and a minutes silence held, City players will wear black armbands during the match.

Lest we forget.
