As supporters are aware, now we are at Step 4, we have to adjust Claines Lane in line with the FA National League Ground Grading requirements.
The main points that we have to concentrate on are -
- Further Cover for a minimum of 100 spectators
- Conversion / Replacement of paybooths with turnstiles
- Installation of a minimum of x2 press tables
- Allocation of x10 home and x10 away director seats in stands
The report produced by the new Stadium Power grading system shows some other minor areas that require works such as signage, access to the grass bank etc some of which we believe have already been covered and will be shown as rectified upon next inspection.
Our first grading inspection will take place on Tuesday 8th October with a view to get more information from the inspector on areas we need to improve outside of those mentioned above.
We do have some important pre-inspection news to bring to supporters with regards to the extra cover for minimum of 100 spectators.
We can confirm we have now submitted a planning application for a terraced stand at the Claines Lane end of the ground which will cover 150 spectators. The application is now live on the planning portal and a consultation with local residents ends on October 14th.
If you wish to view the plans, make a comment on the application or just track the application through its progress, you can do so by clicking HERE.
