We are delighted to announce that manager Chris Cornes has committed his future to the football club and signed a 2-year contract running until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
In what has been an incredible 2 and a half years with Chris in charge, we are sure supporters will be delighted with the news that he will remain here for the foreseeable future.
On securing Chris for the next 2 seasons, owner Simon Lancaster said: "Chris and I have worked really well together in the couple of years that we have both been here, with our vision closely aligned of getting from where we were 2 years ago to where we want to be.
"The achievements of the team under the stewardship of Chris have been truly unbelievable, with 5 trophies and back to back promotions. Our exciting journey continues as we move to Sixways and look to battle it out in step 3. With this in mind and with lots of conversations with players underway, we felt it right to show our commitment to Chris with this contract and we are extremely happy that he agreed it."
Commenting on the announcement Chris Cornes said: "I am absolutely delighted to be signing this contract at the club. I think it shows both the clubs and my intent for this project.
"Since my arrival, alongside that of the owner, it has been an incredible spell, and we both want that to continue.
"I want to thank everyone who has played a part in this journey in the last two and a half years, and now it’s time to get started on the next two years and see what that brings."
Having already announced some top-drawer friendlies at Sixways, our build-up to the new season continues with news on season tickets, gate prices, squad and signing news, and much more to come in the coming days and weeks.
