Corby Town v Worcester City - Saturday 19th September 2015

City make the trip to Northamptonshire today to face Corby Town in the latest Vanarama National League North Match, 3pm kick off.

With the team still looking for a second win, Joint Managers Carl Heeley & Matt Gardiner have released Rob Elvins & Ryan Rowe with a new goalkeeper coming into the squad James Severn who was previously at Derby County & Scunthorpe.

City's last outing was on Tuesday night & a 2-1 defeat at Alfreton Town with Lee Hughes scoring his third goal in two games.

Corby got off to a decent start to the season with two wins and four draws from their opening six games but have lost three of the last four including a 2-3 home defeat to Boston United earlier in the week, where after being 0-2 down The Steelmen pulled it back only to concede in the 88th minute.

Spencer Weir-Daley is the current man in form having netted four goals in his last six games, however MK Dons loanee Kabongo Tshimanga and August Player of the Month Ashley Sammons will both be eager to rediscover their early season assault on the goalscoring charts, with neither having scored since their combined tally of 11 in August.

Corby play at Steel Park, which was opened in July 2011.
The £1.5m stadium was designed by GSSArchitecture on behalf of Corby Borough Council.

Our last visit ended in a 1-0 defeat in April 2013 which included, as in many of City's previous visits, snow, so wrap up warm if you are making the trip. Our last win at Steel Park was in March 2012 when the score ended 2-3

The Steelmen were previously at The Rockingham Triangle Stadium, which was not a favourite with City fans with its running track around the pitch. If you haven't been to Steel Park before then look over the fence for their previous home.

Steel Park includes a mainstand which was erected with room for 577 spectators. With supporters also able to stand on the terrace behind the goal and around the perimeter of the pitch, the official capacity of the stadium is 3,893.

The site also has training pitches, tennis courts, an athletics track, boardroom, sponsors lounge, social club and changing rooms.

The address is:
