They did also reach the league two play-off final in 2005 but lost out to Southend United 2-0 in extra time.
Striker Ben Tomlinson is Lincoln’s top goalscorer so far this season after scoring five goals from fifteen appearances. Left Back Sean Newton tops the assist charts with five from the same amount of games.
City will be without the on loan Phil Trainer who has been recalled by Nuneaton Town but Niall Thompson will be staying longer with the Club.
Shabir Khan has recovered from his injury whilst Sam Smith who picked up match time with Stourport Swifts over the past week will also be available.
Richard Munday who has played a key part in City's very tight defence in the last seven games is struggling with a hamstring injury picked up at last Saturday's 0-0 draw at Oxford City.
