We can confirm that goalkeeper Haydn Whitcombe has retired from playing.

Haydn cemented his place in our club’s history with a long list of honours earned during his time with us.

He featured twice for the Club this season, on the opening day against Quorn and in the FA Cup replay at Chasetown, with his involvement limited due to the injury sustained in the fixture against Quorn.

In total, Haydn made 106 appearances for City, keeping 40 clean sheets across all competitions.

Haydn leaves us with the following honours:

• Worcestershire Senior Invitational Cup Winner
• Herefordshire FA Senior Cup Winner x2
