We can today sadly confirm the departure of Jordan Lymn from the Club.
Due to personal reasons and work commitments, Jordan has taken the tough decision to leave the football club after two years with us.
Jordan joined us in December 2023 and came on for his debut as a second-half substitute against Fairford Town in a dramatic 3-3 draw held at Malvern Town.
Jordan was an ever-present feature in the team and in the recent games against Pershore and St Ives made his 100th and 101st competitive appearances.
He wasn't known for his goal-scoring attributes, but will be fondly remembered for his 102nd-minute strike against Longlevens at Sixways in February 2024 as we hunted down the Hellenic League Title.
Jordan, like others, cements his name into our club's history books and leaves with the following honours -
• Hellenic League Champions
• Northern Premier League Playoff Winner
• Worcestershire Senior Invitational Cup Winner
• Herefordshire FA Senior Cup Winner x2
• Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup Winner
On departing, Jordan shared the following message:
"It was a tough decision to have to make, but one that’s right for me at this moment in time. I’ve had the best 2 years of my career playing at this incredible club.
"Thanks to the owners, staff, the players, the volunteers, the fans and everyone else connected to the club for making me feel so welcome and giving me the support they have given over the last few years. I appreciate it all so much and will cherish the time I spent here for a long time.
"Special thanks go to the Gaffer and Simon. They have done more for me than anyone has in my career. I can’t express how much gratitude I have for them.
"Good luck to the lads for the rest of the season. I will be keeping a close eye and hopefully popping down to a few games. Up The City."
We can only wish Lymny the very best for the future and hope to see him on the terraces from time to time.
