LOCKETT LEAVES

We can confirm this evening that Liam Lockett has left the Club and moved to Alvechurch.

Following continued dialogue over recent weeks the Club agreed to cancel his contract with the Club and move him to non contract terms.

We wish to make it clear that Liam was a valued member of the team and moves to higher Clubs have nearly happened twice already this season.

On the eve of the Gresley game, a move was agreed to a higher division Club only for this to be withdrawn days later.

All parties agreed that the move was best for all and we wish Liam the very best for the future.

I think all would agree he is a fantastic talent, probably one of the best to have progressed through the youth ranks and will continue to impress in the higher leagues.
