Supporters will have the opportunity to see the charity’s decommissioned helicopter pod up close, which will be on display at the ground and available for photographs. Volunteers from the charity will also be in attendance throughout the afternoon to raise vital funds and awareness for their lifesaving service.

Celebrating 35 years of operations, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is one of the longest established and busiest air ambulance operators in the UK, serving communities across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire. On average, the charity responds to around 4,000 missions each year, delivering advanced, hospital-level care at the scene of medical emergencies and trauma.

Operating three air ambulance helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars, the service runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It costs more than £16 million annually to remain operational, and the charity receives no government funding, relying entirely on donations and community support.
