We are delighted to announce our first home friendly ahead of our opening season at our new home, Sixways Stadium.

On Saturday 5th July we welcome Cheltenham Town for a 1.30pm kick off.

The League Two outfit finished their season 15th, just 10 points outside of the playoffs.

Managed by Michael Flynn who once played for Newport under Tim Harris, we also have a number of other links with Cheltenham.
Former City manager and player, Ash Vincent, who is now first team coach, Sops Obieri who was on loan with us last season, and also previous loanees, Callum Ebanks and Grant Horton.

We can also now announce two away friendlies that have been confirmed.

We open up our pre season with a game away at Bewdley Town on Thursday 3rd July 2025 at 7.45pm.

Later in the month, we travel down the M5 to face Gloucester City on Saturday 26th July 2025 at 3:00pm

Details with regards to gate/ticket prices for our home friendlies will be released when those fixtures are confirmed.
