Worcester City are back in action this weekend as they travel to The Victoria Ground to take on Bromsgrove Sporting in the Southern League Premier Central. A familiar setting for City fans, The Victoria Ground was the Club's home for several seasons before returning to Worcester in 2020.
City come off the back of a 0-0 draw at home to Sudbury, a game in which they generated countless chances to win the match, but just couldn't find the back of the net. City are still unbeaten in their last three, with two wins and a draw. You have to go back to December 6th for City's last defeat on the road, away at St Ives.
Bromsgrove have only won one of their last twelve games and find themselves in a relegation battle. They currently sit four points above the relegation zone but have played a game more. Barwell, a resurgent Stamford, and Stourbridge are all hot on their tail.
These teams last met back in October at Sixways, with City coming out 3-0 winners thanks to a brace from Charlie Wise and a penalty from Dan Sweeney.
City are 10th in the league table, sitting on 41 points, eight points from the playoff places, but have played a game less, while Bromsgrove are 17th on 31 points.
This begins a run of three away games in a row for City as they look to put a good run together in the hope of making the playoffs come the end of the season.
