Worcester City are in action in this highly anticipated Boxing Day clash against Halesowen Town.

City come into the game after some strong results against some of the league’s best sides so far. A 2-2 draw against league leaders Spalding, secured by a last-minute equaliser while down to ten men, gave the squad a much-needed confidence boost. That was followed by an impressive 4-2 win away at Quorn, who currently sit third in the table.

The two sides previously met at the start of the season, with City running out 3-0 winners in a dominant away performance. With just one point separating the teams in the table, a win for City would open up a gap on those below and push the Blue and Whites further towards the play-off places.

Halesowen have endured a challenging few weeks, failing to win in their last four matches, including a dramatic 5-5 draw with Sudbury. They will be determined to end that winless run and put pressure on City as the chasing side.

Festive fixtures are always ones to look forward to, and this promises to be no different, with City determined to give supporters an entertaining Boxing Day occasion.

A reminder that this fixture is segregated. City fans will be housed in the West Stand, North End and Blocks A and B of the East Stand. Halesowen supporters will be housed in Blocks G and H of the East Stand.
