Worcester City are back on the road again this Saturday as they take on Harborough Town in the Southern League Premier Central.
City’s midweek trip to Bishop’s Stortford was a success as they came out 2-1 winners thanks to a second-half comeback and a late winner from Charlie Lutz.
City have been in good form the last few weeks, winning four of their last five and only conceding once. City are also unbeaten in their last six away games, a run that goes back to December.
Meanwhile, Harborough were on a six-game winning streak, but that was ended midweek in a loss away to Banbury. The hosts have a strong home record, having not lost in the league at home all season.
The teams met back in November, with Harborough coming up 2-1 winners in an incredibly tight affair. Connor Kennedy gave Harborough the lead just before the break. City equalised with a fantastic effort from Harry Burns, before the visitors secured the winner in the 70th minute through striker Riley O'Sullivan.
City currently sit 8th, only two points outside the playoffs. Harborough sit 2nd, four points off top spot, and will be pushing hard for automatic promotion, with 3 games in hand over Spalding United.
If results go their way on Saturday, City could end the weekend sitting in the playoff places.
