City come into this game off the back of consecutive home losses to Banbury and Stamford, with last week's result being particularly disappointing, as Stamford occupied the spot at the bottom of the table.

Chris Cornes' men will be hoping to bounce back against a team sat in the playoff positions. Bedford are in good form, currently on a three-game winning streak, which has seen them climb to third in the table as they look to keep their playoff push going.

It’s been a tough run for City as they’ve lost three of the last four games. However, all those losses have come at home, with City unbeaten in three away games, including a trip to top-of-the-league Spalding United.

City currently sit tenth in the league table, five points outside the playoffs. But, with all of the sides in the division bunched up together on points, and any side being capable of beating anyone, a late-season push for the playoffs is not out of reach.

City last played Bedford in September, in which Bedford came out on top as 3-1 winners, after an early goal from Kyle Belmonte put City in front.

After a recent dip in form City will be hoping for a strong performance against an in-form team.
