Speaking to the Worcester News, City boss Tim Harris said: "First of all it's a real shame it hasn't worked out for Dan and we have decided it best to part ways,"

"He has been so unlucky with injuries the whole time he has been here it's just not worked out, unfortunately.

"There is no doubt a fit Dan Westwood would have scored many goals in this league but the way it's gone, we saw it best to end it now and move on, the best solution for both parties really.

"Would like to wish Dan all the best as he is a great character and just a generally smashing bloke."

Worcester City FC would like to thank Dan Westwood for all of his efforts in Blue And White and wish him the best for the future.
