Saturday 17th September - 3pm

Following the news of Tim Harris' resignation as first-team manager yesterday evening, City head in to the weekend welcoming Whitchurch Alport to Claines Lane.

Taking control of first-team matters will be Stewart Watkins and Craig Jones, whilst the process of securing a new manager takes place.

The Blue And Whites will be looking to turn around their fortunes, as they currently sit bottom of the league with 1 point from the first 6 games. Whitchurch, the visitors, have made a bright start to the season, picking up 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat from their first 5 games. Last season saw City do the league double over Alport with a 1-2 victory in early September on the road and a 4-0 victory at Claines Lane in mid-November 2021.

City were boosted by the return of Chris Withington in Tuesday evening's defeat vs Bewdley Town. Chris had been unavailable through injury since the start of the season but came off the bench in the second half for his first minutes of the season.

A Fans Forum with the Club Board and Supporters Trust Board will take place from 5:30pm after the game in the upstairs room of the clubhouse. Come along and have your say.
