WORCESTER CITY v SHIFNAL TOWN - CELEBRATING 120 YEARS OF WORCESTER CITY FC

On Saturday 10th December 2022 we face Shifnal Town at Claines Lane in the Midland Football League, which has an earlier kick off of 2PM Kick Off - with the ground open from 12.30pm.

At this game we will be celebrating the 120th Anniversary of the Club and there will be plenty going on during the afternoon so we want to give plenty of advance notice so you can put it in your diary!

We will have a FAN ZONE in place which will have an extra catering concession, a FAN BAR which will sell draught beer, real ale and cider, a Merchandise Store which will have City merchandise and team wear available to buy off the rail and our 120th Anniversary Exhibition which will show iconic photos from throughout our history.

The Fan Zone will also feature the Salvation Army Band who will be joining us from 1.15pm up to Kick Off, playing plenty of well known tunes and they will also come back to play at Half Time.

We will also have activities going on in the clubhouse which will all be free - we will be revealing more about these activities in the coming weeks.

Entry Prices for the game are:

Adult - £8
Concession - £6
Junior (12-18) - £3
Under 12* - 0
*Must be accompanied by an adult (18+)

We are expecting a much larger attendance than normal so we encourage all supporters to purchase entry in advance, hence the extra notice.

PARKING

We have limited parking onsite at Claines Lane which is available for £5 per car which must be pre-booked via our online store.

BOOK ON SITE PARKING

We also have ample parking at RGS The Grange for £2 per car which is a 10-minute walk from the ground and at The River School on School Bank for £3 per car which is a 5 minute walk.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO PARKING ON CLAINES LANE, GRANGE LANE OR UNDERNEATH THE BRIDGE CROSSING THE A38 ON DROITWICH ROAD - ANYONE WHO PARKS IN THE LANES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY TO THE GAME AS PART OF OUR GROUND REGULATIONS

DISABLED PARKING

We have limited disabled parking at The Football Ground on site but it is strictly by booking only on a game by game basis. You must email well in advance of the game to avoid disappointment: commercial@worcestercityfc.org upon booking of tickets and please follow the instructions sent to you.

TRAVELLING BY BUS

If you are travelling by Bus, there are regular services. The Bus Stop is located right outside the ground (coming from Town) and just past Claines Lane (going from Droitwich towards Town).

TRAVELLING BY BIKE

We have dedicated Bike parking at two points within the ground. One by the main entrance & the other next to the main building. Please enter the ground via the main entrance.

WHAT IF THE GAME IS POSTPONED

In the event this game is postponed at the last minute, all of the activities will still go ahead and we will have a full itinerary in place which we will announce in the week leading up to the game. This would be a Free Event.
