City's under 14s produce a fine display

The under 14s travelled to Forest Green Rovers to their fine facility at the Royal Agricultural College with pitches like bowling greens and the backdrop being that of a stately home.

The game started and rovers were quick out of the blocks and were to creat a very good chance with a header after a very good cross the went just over the bar, City settled down and began to find their passing game with the ball being moved quickly which the surface allowed with the heavy rain it was to be slick passing and moving from City. The score remained 0-0 for the first 20 mins or so and City having the best of the chances were getting more into the game with the ever threatening Tom smith who with his pace was causing rovers all sorts of problems, the pressure from City was rewarded with an excellent goal from Tom. Allen who received a powerful pass from Dan Sutton, controlled it instantly and turned on the volley to hit the bottom corner 0-1 City
Allen added a second with a sublime lob over the keeper shortly after.
The second half of the game was dominated by City and further excellent goals from Jamie Power who rounded the keeper one on one and also Jacob Saul after a lovely cut back cross from Tom Smith and the final goal being an individual beauty from Tom smith who beat 4 players down the left wing drove into the box and finished neatly to round off a fine man of the match display from Smith,.
City ended Rovers unbeaten start emphatically with a great 0-5 win
Next up Middleton Cheney 10.30 at Worcester university 3G sat 11th October.
