City's under 14's visited the Coventry City training ground for their JPL league fixture against a very good football side that the Sky Blues coaches always produce.
The Pitch was sticky and a little bumpy but as the game went on the players settled in to their pattern of play.
after a few breaks fowward it was to be the sky blues who took the lead just befor half time when the sky blues striker pounced on a mistake in the Worcester box to poke home to take a 1-0 lead.
City Reacted and then began to dominate the game and were unlucky not to take the lead earlier in the game hitting the post and the bar and forcing the sky blues keeper into some excellent saves.
The game continued in the same vain and 3 parts into the game an excellent run from Oliver Twigg cutting in from the left wing into the box put a lovely ball through for Tom Williams to slot home 1-1 and well deserved.
The pressure was being piled on by the city lads onto the sky blues and the sky blues keeper was having a stormer of a game.
Eventually with 2 mins to go The ball was released in midfield from Jake Keane and a combination of passes with will Mahoney saw the ball go out wide to Twigg and then played it into the feet of Williams in the box who held up the ball excellently and saw the blindside run of Arron Brett who drove into the box and recieved the pass to take one touch and hit the far top corner of the goal across the face of the keeper to win the game with 2 mins left to play.
Great goal to win any match and a very good match from two good footballing sides.
Man of the match - Left Back, George Patey, strength power and good reading of the game with good pass completion
