The Monday night Floodlit match was away against local rivals Gloucester City. It was a hard fought game with Worcester dominating possession, the deadlock was broken, however, after 20 minutes into the first half by Worcester City when Tristan Webby was on hand to chip the ball over the goalies outstretched leg in a packed box.
Worcester retained the majority of possession in the second half (albeit giving away a penalty 10 minutes into the second half that produced an incredible save from Worcester’s goalie Ben Clay) but by the latter stages had to endure wave after wave of attacks from a determined and unrelenting Gloucester side.
City ground out a precious away win to take them joint top of the Midland Floodlit Youth League.
