Tough first home fixture for Worcester city u13’s, we didn’t really hit the ground running until the 2nd quarter, which was our best part of the match, a quarter where we showed our real quality, fought hard for every ball and created some chances.
But, Rushall Olympic who were looking to bounce back from a defeat to Stourbridge last week, were just a class above today for large parts of the game.
The boys dug in all match, but today was a stark reminder that hard work and intense training is still needed throughout the year to be able to compete at the highest level, Training outside of football is imperative to succeed and become a top athlete at any sport, commitment and desire are also a minimum requirement.
Lots of lessons learnt from the last two weeks and we are sure we will bounce back and learn.
Man of the Match – Ethan Bowley – Didn’t let his head drop in goal and made some class saves, well done.
