On Saturday, the girls played away against Stourbridge. The first half saw plenty of goals with Eva dominating the midfield battle. Goals from Eva, Indie, Laila and a first for the club from Phoebe saw the girls go into half time with a narrow lead.
The second half saw the girls having to defend and make many last ditch tackles. Mia was on top form woth several important saves. Stourbridge played some nice football and really tested the girls in all areas of the pitch. Alice was yet again a rock in defence showing no fear throughout
A late penalty made it a nervy finish, but with the last kick of the game, Laila made sure the girls ended the game smiling.
Player of the match - Mia.
Yet another superb display with many important saves. Not only the saves, but also her communication helps organise the team.
