Westbury Celtic vs Worcester City U8s

An intense 1st half against an aggressive Westbury team showing plenty of effort, made for a great battle with few chances at either end, Westbury took full advantage of a rare loose ball in the box to end the half the happier team.

Straight from the 2nd half whistle, the lads came out with more fight and more intensity, with Oscar leading the charge, he went on to have a stunning 2nd half, 1st showing great composure to score from a super Ethan pick out, to then quickly walloping a super strike, that gave the keeper no chance, before standing up a quality corner for Alf to volley home in a frantic spell that changed the face of the game.

Despite Westburys early efforts, the lads had now firmly shifted the momentum, with Ethan's great through ball controlled and dispatched superbly by Zayne, Logan was next, looping a super effort over the keeper, before Jakub on his 1st game back popped up add his name to the scoresheet.

With Westbury starting to tire, the boys maintained their intensity with Marcel staying sharp to finish off another great Ethan assist before doubling his tally moments later with another clinical effort.

Man of the Match Oscar, had a massive impact on the game 2nd half, showing great desire to push the team forward by scoring 2 and assisting the third, but all the lads were fantastic, Archie showed great feet to bring the ball out of defence, with Jonny and Logan marshalling the back line superbly, leaving Alf and Jakub to pick the passes in midfield. Ethan showed great feet to racked up a hatrick of assists as Marcel and Zayne battled superbly for the team adding goals late on as a reward for their efforts.
