Worcester City 4 Stone Old Alleynians 1

City won through at the first attempt in the Pre-Qualifying Round of The Emirates FA Cup at The Victoria Ground ,winning £2,250 from the FA prize pot.

Old Alleynians playing in their first ever FA Cup game got off to a tremendous start when Jack Tomlinson nipped past Nat Kelly to beat City keeper Tedd Cann from 10 yards out giving them a 1-0 lead.

After 10 minutes City drew level when Jordan Harrison sprung the offside trap running onto a great pass from Chris Withington to beat the advancing keeper.

Four minutes later, City took the lead. Stone Keeper Alcock's clearance fell straight to Jack Jeys who lofted the ball back into the empty net to make it 2-1.

On 22 minutes City were awarded a penalty. A long range shot from Jeys was parried by keeper Alcock into the path of Harrison who was brought down by the keeper. Harrison got up to stroke home the penalty to make it 3-1, which is how it ended at the break.

Both sides had chances in the second half and Old Alleynians never looked out of the game until the 81st minute when City added a fourth when Levi Andoh headed home from a Demetri Brown cross.

City move into the Preliminary Round with an away trip to Heather St Johns on 24th August
