City are out of the FA Cup after a 1-0 defeat at Heather St Johns.

The only goal of the game came on the 55th minute when the home side cleared a long kick forward by City keeper Ted Cann into the path of
Kieron Clarke on the left wing who drove forward to shoot across the City keeper from a tight angle.

City had chances in the first half, the best falling to captain Aaron Birch from a long Luke English throw in, bit his shot fell inches wide of the post. Joe Hawkins, making his City debut also came close with a header from a corner.

Despite plenty of pressure, City failed to make the best of their opportunities and the best chance of the game came late on when Nyeko Sinclair was put clean through on the back post, but he was unable to direct the ball towards the goal.
