City are through in the Worcestershire Senior Cup thanks to a Bailey Fuller hat-trick at Claines Lane.
On a heavy pitch City pulled back level on two occasions before getting the winner in the 88th minute.
Despite a bright start from City it was Evesham who took the lead after 25 minutes. A free kick won on City's right hand side was whipped in by Jack Horrill and cross / shot beat everyone in the crowded box and straight into the net. City however were level within two minutes. A pass from Bailey Fuller to Sam Whitton on the half way line saw him thread a ball through to Billy Shaw who dummied the defender and the ball went straight into the path of Bailey Fuller who calmly finished.
Evesham started much better in the second half and took the lead on 49 minutes. A long range effort from 35 yards out from Jack Horrill deceived City keeper Adam Harrison and straight into the bottom corner to make it 1-2.
It took until the 63rd minute for City to draw level. An Evesham attack broke down which then saw James Douglas receive the ball 10 yards outside the box before sending a 40 yard pass into the path of Bailey Fuller, he then pushed forward before shooting from the edge of the box, the goal bound shot took a wicked deflection off a defender and into the net giving keeper Parry no chance.
With the game heading towards penalties City grabbed the winner in the 88th minute. Reiss Taylor-Randle received the ball on the right just inside the half way line, he passed to Will Gibbons who held the ball up well before sending it forward to Bailey Fuller, he was left one on one and there was only going to be one result & he duly finished sending City through to the next round.
