After Saturday's FA Vase success, City will hope to keep the cup wins coming as they host Hellenic Division One outfit Cheltenham Saracens at Claines Lane on Tuesday evening, a 7.45pm kick-off.

City boss Chris Cornes spoke about his decision not to make any substitutes during the FA Vase fixture on Saturday, a decision which ultimately turned out to be a stroke of genius as City scored twice in the last ten minutes to secure their progress into the Round of 16. That also means that he will have a number of players fresh and ready for minutes, a welcome sight with midweek games continuing to crop up as we head into the business end of the season.

Izak Reid, Lorcan Sheehan, Jamie Insall, Cam Monteith, Kyonn Evans and Elliott Hartley were all left on the bench on Saturday and you would feel are chomping at the bit for inclusion in the starting eleven, with big league and cup matches incoming. James Batchelor and Reece Day were also not included having been in several recent squads, with Joe Stockton also deputising for Haydn Whitcombe in league cup competitions so far this season, so you'd feel that there may be changes afoot for Cornes' side on Tuesday night and a chance for a number of players to stake their claim for starting spots.

Our visitors to Claines Lane on Tuesday evening, Cheltenham Saracens, are currently in 14th place in the Hellenic Division One table, one league lower than City, and are currently on a run of six matches without a win, suffering three defeats in that time including a 4-2 defeat away to Stonehouse Town on Saturday afternoon. Their last win, a 5-0 victory at Chipping Sodbury Town, was in November.

Tuesday should prove to be a useful opportunity for Cornes' squad players to get some minutes under their belts ahead of a busy end to the season.
