Worcester City make the long trip to Suffolk tomorrow to take on Needham Market in what promises to be another exciting fixture in our 2025/26 campaign.

With over 160 miles separating Worcester from Needham Market, it’s one of the longer journeys on the fixture list, and the squad will be eager to make the miles count with a positive result.

Needham Market suffered a tough opening day defeat, losing 4-0 away at Harborough Town, before earning a point at home on Tuesday evening against one of the early league favourites, Real Bedford. City will take confidence from Tuesday's performance, where they picked up a point on the road at Banbury United.

Both Paul Downing and Izak Reid are edging closer to fitness, but are expected to miss out this weekend. Otherwise, Manager Chris Cornes has a full complement to select his 16 from for the overnight trip to East England.
