City dropped further points in the league when they travelled to Lye Town on Saturday 6th April.
A difficult place to play with an awful pitch and against a side who work hard for 90 minutes City appeared to be bossing it in the first half with most time spent in the Lye half, unfortunately the game was very tight and neither team really had a great deal of chance's in front of goal.
Into the second half and City again were the brighter team, Baldwin picking the ball out of the air on the left wing and drove towards the Lye defence, he then put the ball across the box where James Lemon fired home in the 48th minute.
City were the much better team until twenty minutes from time when a set piece into the box was headed home by Tye who was left all alone dead centre of goal and about 2 yards out.
From this point forward it was all Lye and the City team seemed to lose confidence. With every set piece going into the box you felt it was only a matter of time before Lye scored another goal.
Sure enough in the 89th minute another set piece came into the box and Meacham was there to finish.
City were down and out, moments later the full time whistle sounded and City left Stourbridge road with no points on the board.
