A David Kolodynski Hat-trick saw off City in this Midland Football League Premier Division Fixture.
City who welcomed Craig Jones into the centre of the defence made a bright start with Jack Jeys twice coming close in the opening exchanges. His first effort hit the post on 4 minutes and his second after nine minutes was saved by Long Eaton keeper Jason White.
On 31 minutes the first blow of the evening came as Demetri Brown was substituted after pulling up with tight hamstrings to be replaced by Jordan Harrison and City's early dominance was immediately put under pressure with Ted Cann making two saves in quick succession but on 37 hit man Kolodynski added his first of the night after a goalmouth scramble.
The game was to change for the worse on the stoke of half time. City were awarded a foul on the half way line and in the ensuing melee Jack Jeys was shown a yellow card for needlessly pushing an opponent. With half time arriving soon after, Jeys was sent off after an incident as the players left the field, although it didn't become apparent until the City team came out for the second half.
On 60 minutes, City made a second change with Liam Lockett replacing Chris Withington and within a minute the host had doubled their lead, again from Kolodynski after being put through on the edge of the box. On 72 minutes it was 3-0, James Shaw crossed from the right for Kolodynski to head home from inside the six yard line and to score his second hat-trick in four days.
The fourth goal came on 76 minutes and again within the six yard box when Romaine Graham prodded home after City failed to clear to give the hosts a deserved win.
