With the game kicking off 30 minutes late due to the Referee being delayed, it was an end to end from the start with both sides having opportunities throughout the game.

City opened the scoring after the home side conceded a free kick on the left after Sean Brain was fouled by Dennis who received a yellow card. Liam Lockett's perfectly weighted kick was glanced home by Brain on 27 minutes.

Within seven minutes the scores were level. Kurtis Mewies gave away a needless free-kick away, 10 yards out of the box. The resulting kick was charged down but Hanslow's resulting cross was deflected in past a stranded Dan Jezeph.

The second half saw chances for both sides, with City getting off to a better start. City had two opportunities from long goal kicks but Sean Brain was unable to make the most of the situations. At the other end Dan Jezeph made a great save from Strzyzewski after the City defenders threw themselves in the way to keep the home side out.

All in all , a well deserved draw for City.
