Despite a hatful of chances City went down to 0-1 defeat to Coventry United at The Victoria Ground.
City missed a penalty, had another turned down and missed numerous chances in an end to end game.
The visitors took the lead in the 37th minute when Chris Camwell did well to beat Dan Jezeph from just inside the box, then minutes later Liam Lockett was brought down in the box to give City a penalty. Sean Brain's spot kick was then easily saved by Reece Francis.
City were denied a another penalty midway through the second half when Jordan Harrison’s hook back towards the far post was blocked by the high arm of Luke Downes only for referee Aaron Ford to wave the calls away.
City had several chances which saw the Coventry players throwing themselves in the way keep their lead and had a couple of chances of their own.
