After 7 years in exile City finally returned to Worcester.
Whilst it wasn't the return most had hoped for, mainly due to the reduced capacity which saw just 300 able to attend, but the match ended with a 0-1 victory for the visitors.
City had the ball for most of the night but were unable to break down a stubborn Tividale resistance, which saw them sitting back even further after taking a first half lead which came five minutes before the break. Dan Smith pounced on to an error by City defender Joe Hawkins before finally curling the ball into the top corner from across the goal.
Tividale also had an earlier chance when a Matt Hunt header was saved by Dan Jezeph.
City's best chance of the night came in the 66th minute, when Sean Brain was put clean through but opted to go round the advancing keeper rather than getting a shot in and the chance fizzled out.
City had further chances but with the visitors throwing their bodies in the way of every effort, they hung on for the win.
