City hit the road tomorrow for a trip to the Payaro Stadium, Stoke-On-Trent, the home of Hanley Town, who currently sit top of the table, and are looking for a win to secure the league title. It looks to be a tough encounter for The Blue And Whites against a side who have only been beaten 3 times this season.
A late Green-Birch header for Hanley was the difference in a tight and tough game at Claines Lane back in September.
Coming off the back of Tuesday's penalty shootout disappointment, City will look to continue their good run of form, which see's them unbeaten over 90 minutes in their last 5 games. Hanley's flying league form has faltered a little in their last 5, seeing defeats to Bewdley Town and Shifnal Town, and a draw with the resolute Walsall Wood.
Chris Withington is feeling the effects of the last two games and is unlikely to make the starting line up tomorrow, but both James Douglas and Craig Jones look to have shaken off their knocks and are expected to be in the squad. Striker Jude Hill has come down with Covid, and winger Bailey Fuller is out for the remainder of the season with an ankle effusion. Bobbie Dale is also to be rested until next season after his cameo against Pershore.
Tomorrow's game is free entry for all.
